Megan Fox has written a new book, and from the way she described it, the pages will be quite revealing.

The actress, 37, who was slightly injured in a fracas involving fiancé Machine Gun Kelly in Orange County, announced the upcoming project on social media on Tuesday.

‘I wrote a book,’ she penned with a broken heart emoji next to a carousel that began with a cover for the collection of poems called Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.

‘Pre-order now at the link in my bio. Out November 7th,’ added the brunette beauty.

A second slide offered an emotional explanation for the contents.

‘These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that has taken root in me because of my silence,’ she began.

‘I’ve spent my entire life carrying the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the secrets of their sins,’ she submitted.

‘My freedom lives in these pages and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness.’

Machine Gun Kelly, 33, was one of the first to comment on the announcement writing, ‘proud of you,’ followed by a flame emoji.

‘I’ve never wanted to buy a book written by a celebrity until today,’ admitted one fan.

Someone who seemed connected to the publication shared, ‘These poems have made me cry, laugh, hurt. So honored to be working on this powerful collection and can’t wait for the world to read!’

The description of the book on the Simon and Schuster website read, ‘Megan Fox showcases her wicked humor throughout a heartbreaking and dark collection of poetry.

‘Over the course of more than seventy poems Fox chronicles all the ways in which we fit ourselves into the shape of the ones we love, even if it means losing ourselves in the process.’

Although Megan is considered by many one of the most beautiful women in the world, in an interview with Sports Illustrated for the publication’s infamous Swimsuit Issue, the Johnny and Clyde star revealed her lifelong struggle with body dysmorphia.

‘I don’t ever see myself the way other people see me,’ said the mom of three who shares Noah, 10,  Bodhi, nine, and Journey, six, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, 50.

‘There’s never a point in my life where I loved my body, never, ever.’

The Transformers star spoke about her childhood in Tennessee revealing, ‘When I was little, that was an obsession I had of, like, “but I should look this way,” and why I had an awareness of my body that young I’m not sure.’

‘It definitely wasn’t environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren’t even acknowledged.’
